About Me
Experience
I have worked as a therapist for over 20 years - most recently in the university sector but also in charities, such as Breast Cancer Care and Diabetes UK, and have worked supporting women experiencing domestic intimate partner violence and refugees. I also supervise counsellors-in-training and qualified therapists. As an experienced trainer, in the university sector, and corporate and charity, I deliver mental health training, either bespoke or MHFAider, Mental Health Aware Half Day and Higher Education courses (MHFA accredited). I have worked both in the UK and internationally, including in South Africa and Singapore.

Identity and approach

I am passionate about my work and incorporate my personal beliefs and values into my professional practice. As a queer person, I embrace and celebrate individual difference, intersectionality, equity and inclusivity. Being a lover of nature and health, I also truly believe mind, body and environment impact one another.
